That's what the XH-150 prototype by AFS Trinity does. A group of engineers got together and figured out a better way to design a hybrid car. If an SUV can get 150 mpg, imagine the possibilities! THE TESLA ROADSTER Posted by mck 08/23/2007 Who says electric cars have to be boring? The problem I've always had with electric and hybrid cars is that they are boring sedans. Why doesn't somebody design a convertible or something? I guess someone heard me. The Tesla Roadster is a 100% electric car, does 0 to 60 in about 4 seconds, cost-wise gets the equivalent of 135mpg, and has a cruise range of 200 miles per charge. NOW I'll buy an electric car!
